What we buy
Gold and silver
In any form. Rings, chains, bracelets, a single earring whose pair is long gone, class rings, charm bracelets, dental gold, bullion, coins and bars. Broken and tangled is fine — it is weighed and tested the same way.
Diamonds and watches
Diamonds loose or still set in a mounting. Luxury watches whether or not they run, with or without the box and papers.
Most of what crosses the counter is inherited, and most people bringing it in do not know what it is, what it is worth, or whether it is real. That is what the testing is for. You are not expected to arrive knowing.

An unmarked piece is still worth bringing in. Plenty of real gold was never stamped, and plenty of stamps have simply worn away.
How an offer is worked out
Your piece is weighed on a certified scale and read with an XRF analyzer, on the counter, where you can see it. The offer is built from three things: the karat the analyzer actually reads, the weight, and where the metal market sits that day.
That is why there is no price on this page and no offer over the phone. The market moves every day, and nobody can tell what a piece is by looking at it or hearing it described. The number is worked out in front of you, and you are under no obligation to take it.
Collateral loans
We also write collateral loans against gold, silver, diamonds and luxury watches — your piece secures the loan and comes back to you when it is repaid.
